Jeremy Edgeworth's home hit by lightening

Ernie Perry

On Saturday, August 13, the home of Jeremy Edgeworth (Kentucky Transportation Cabinet) and his wife Valerie was struck by lightening. The strike started a fire, which was quickly extinguished by the local fire department. The fire was confined to a single room, but fire and smoke damage will require that the ceiling and floor be replaced. The Edgeworths were not home at the time, and no one was injured.
We’ll be keeping the Edgeworths in our thoughts as they begin the clean-up and repair process.
