Missouri State Freight Plan Open for Comment

Ernie Perry

modot_freight The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) recently released the latest draft of the Missouri State Freight Plan and invited the public to provide input.

Over the last several months the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has been working with stakeholders across the state to identify opportunities and actions to improve Missouri’s freight transportation system. The plan’s purpose is to help meet the current and future needs of Missouri businesses and increase economic development and jobs.  The draft freight plan builds on one of the critical areas identified by Missourians in MoDOT’s On the Move long range planning process completed earlier this year.

The public comment period ends on October 31, 2014.
