Regional Solutions for a Regional Issue
As part of the 2014 MAFC Annual Meeting and NAFTANEXT Conference, participants had the opportunity to tour some of the Chicago Region Environmental and Transportation Efficiency (CREATE) program’s project sites. MAFC researcher Maria Hart attended the tour, took photographs, and then added the photographs to a Chicago map using ArcGIS.
CFIRE/MAFC researchers recently released a brief on the use of Equivalent Single Axle Loads (ESALs) for understanding and communicating the impact of truck traffic on our nation’s roads and highways. This brief is available here.
