{"id":8281,"date":"2012-02-08T16:00:04","date_gmt":"2012-02-08T22:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/midamericafreight.org\/?p=1479"},"modified":"2012-02-08T16:00:04","modified_gmt":"2012-02-08T22:00:04","slug":"mafc-to-partner-with-itts-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wwwtest.midamericafreight.org\/index.php\/2012\/02\/08\/mafc-to-partner-with-itts-2\/","title":{"rendered":"MAFC to Partner with ITTS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Mid-America Freight Coalition is entering into a collaborative partnership with the Institute for Trade and Transportation Studies (ITTS).<br \/>\nThis interregional partnership encompasses more than half of the United States and includes nearly every core industry\u2014agriculture, automotive, manufacturing, mining, commodities, logistics, shipping, and warehousing.<br \/>\nRepresentatives from the MAFC and ITTS will work together to further encourage cooperative freight development between the two coalitions and their member states.<\/p>\n<h3>About ITTS<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wwwtest.midamericafreight.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/itts_banner.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1482\" title=\"itts_banner\" src=\"https:\/\/wwwtest.midamericafreight.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/itts_banner.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"67\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe Institute for Trade and Transportation Studies examines the effects of commercial freight movements on domestic and international activities, with reference to infrastructure and transportation needs, and safety implications.<br \/>\nCurrent membership consists of the State Departments of Transportation from the following States: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.<br \/>\nITTS also sponsors the yearly <em>Freight in the Southeast<\/em> conference.<br \/>\nFor more information about ITTS, visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ittsresearch.org\">ittsresearch.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Mid-America Freight Coalition is entering into a collaborative partnership with the Institute for Trade and Transportation Studies (ITTS).
